My Mother's Sister Was a Cow

"My mother had a Jersey cow for a sister, creamy white in color." From the Our Creature Comforts exhibition. The original painting was sold and with the money, I purchased a live cow for a needy family, through World Vision; a christian organization that works to help people and communities across the world. My mother told me of the "good fortune" of owning a cow, growing up during the depression and I wanted the painting to bring "good fortune" to another family.
Matted giclee print on archival matte paper. 16"x20"
